THE LANDSCAPE INTO WHICH I WAS BORN

  • In 2021 I began mapping the glacial moraine systems surrounding my present-day home in the neighborhood where I was born. The project consists of groundtruthed GIS datasets, photogrammetry scans of entire valley systems at varying scales, and ongoing development of a first-person VR environment. The area is strewn with granite erratics that have dislodged from glacial clay and carved paths through Devonian shale bedrock.
