ABOUT THE EDITION
In the tradition of documenting polar expeditions with commemorative covers and other polar philatelic ephemera, I’ve produced this commemorative edition documenting my expedition training activities on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie. These four small editions were hand cancelled at Kelleys Island (43438) with hand-back service only. Each cover is signed with my initials. At time of purchase, you will receive an email with the project description that you can print to store with the cover. A limited number of covers are available for purchase.
In 2023 I was admitted as a member of the American Society of Polar Philatelists. Later, a selection of these covers were presented at the American Philatelic Society’s 2023 Great American Stamp Show at the Catchetmakers Bourse.

VARIATION & CONDITION
Each of these covers is slightly different, from the way they were stamped, to the way that they were handled in the postal system. Please view the scanned images carefully. High resolution scans may be requested for evaluation, but philatelic expertizing is not provided.
