3.1 NAUTICAL MILES THROUGH THE LAURENTIDE ICE SHEET

  • The Laurentide Ice Sheet was a continental glacier that shaped much of North America during the Pleistocene, notably leaving behind the post-glacial meltwater inland seas of the Great Lakes. This 24 minute film documents a 3.1 nautical mile stretch of this meltwater in Lake Erie from Kelleys Island south to Marblehead.

The complete film is now available to watch in the screening room.
